FLIGHT

P3/2's class assembly was focussing on flight.  They were telling the audience about the Montgolfier Brothers, the Wright Brothers and ways that we can travel.  The Montgolfier Brothers were the first men to make a hot air balloon.  As the years passed, other inventors experimented with gliders and hot air balloons.  Some were more successful than others. The Wright Brothers were the first men to successfully achieve powered flight.  Some of the songs were called 'Those Magnificent Men" , "I Built a Rocket" and "How Would You Travel?".  It was a great success - By Evie The children's comments: I  enjoyed being a Wright Brother with Ross and I liked my old fashioned clothes - by Lewis. I liked singing "How Would You Travel?"  I also liked saying my part and I think it was really good - by  Ishbel. My favourite song was "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machine" - by Robyn. We really enjoyed the show and I liked speaking into the microphone - by Isla. I was very happy to be a Wright Brother and I think we entertained you along the way - by Ross. All I want to say is it was FANDABIDOZYIE - by Sean.
