Primary seven c was formed by  some of the children in P6a, P6b and  P6/7.  There were  four new girls and we have all got along with each other well.  Before the class got together the people that were chosen from all the primary 6 classes met up to get to know each other.  We did lots of different activites and games and even had time in the gym.  We are glad to be a class now but we do still all of our friends.  We know each other so well we fell like we have been a class since primary one.






The red badge means that you are a helper outside helping in the playground with either the P1s, P2s or P3s doing jobs such as taking them to the medical room, manning the doors, working on the CD player, taking the P1s to get their teeth brushed, being referees at the football area and helping in the classrooms at wet weather.
The green badge means that you help at the dinner tables in the lunch hall by cutting up food for the P1s, P1s or P3s or opening their packaged food and making sure that they eat enough of their lunch.

Teams

In our class we have teams which are led by a team captain.  We try to earn points for our team through our class work, challenges, behaviour, attitude and homework.  We keep track of our points on a chart.  Sometimes the captains choose their own teams and other times it's done randomly.  Each team thinks of a name and its agreed by all the team members.  At the end of the week or two weeks the points are counted and each member of the winning team recives a small reward. The captian keeps the winning certificate.
 
Challenges

Every morning when we come into school  we get out our whiteboards, pes and rubbers.  Then we start our ten minute challenge.  We get three big numbers such as 100, 75, 50, 25 and10.  We also get three small numbers such as 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9.  Then we have our two target numbers which are in the hundreds.  It's the same idea as the maths countdown challenges.  If we get it spot on we get ten points for our team and if we get  one away we get five points for our teams.

One of the other challengesis the letter challenges when we get nine letters.  Using the nine letters we have to try and make the biggest word possible.  If you get the biggest word you get fifity points for your team.








At the start of the year we would like to acheive before the end of P7.  For some goals it will take us longer to achieve but we hope to achieve all of them successfully.
Here are some examples of our goals,
  • To try my hardest to get into the netball team.
  • To be more energetic and eat more healthily.
  • To have a great time before First Year at Grove.
  • Try my hardest to make new friends.
  • To set an example for children.
  • Be  more confident.
  • To learn more new and exciting things.
  • Do my best in national test.
  • To get a good report card.
  • To try my hardest to be good at all times.
  • To try my hardest at french/german.
